Kelvin Wong

Kelvin Wong is a Partner at Shook Lin & Bok LLP, specialising in banking and finance law, acquisition financing, property financing, and syndicated lending. He advises on secured and unsecured lending, syndicated and bilateral loans, interbank borrowings, and other financial transactions, representing local and international banks, financial institutions, real estate investment trusts, SMEs, and multinational corporations.

Kelvin has acted for the syndicated lenders in connection with the provision of S$600 million facilities to a business trust, one of the largest unsecured financings involving a complex structure with shareholders, intercreditors, and business trusts issues; for a financial institution as lender, agent, and security agent in the provision of S$500 million facilities for the acquisition of a commercial and retail property on Orchard Road for redevelopment; for a leading real estate group in relation to S$232 million facilities for the acquisition of a target company owning a Grade-A office building in Shanghai's Xujiahui district; and for OCBC and DBS Bank in connection with US$100 million facilities to an Indonesia-based bauxite mining company. He has also acted on cross-border transactions in Australia and the United Kingdom.

Kelvin holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2012) and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2013. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
