I-An Lim

Lim I-An is a Senior Partner in Dentons Rodyk's Corporate practice group and Co-Head of the Private Equity, Employment and Investment Funds practices, specialising in Corporate Law. His diverse practice encompasses mergers and acquisitions, fund management, private equity and venture capital, e-commerce and employment matters.

I-An has extensive experience in unit trust funds, offshore and onshore fund structures, and investment advisory matters. He has assisted with the establishment of numerous unit trust funds in Singapore and helped foreign fund managers with the offering of their offshore funds in Singapore. He has also been involved in the establishment of numerous offshore funds domiciled in Mauritius, the BVI and the Cayman Islands, and advises on investment advisory matters involving licensing and regulatory issues, investment management, custodial and administration matters. In addition, he advises on Singapore entity establishment, regulatory requirements, immigration and work permit issues, and frequently advises multinational corporations and foreign clients on expanding their business operations in Singapore.

I-An holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Sheffield (1995).

He is consistently recognised as a Leading Individual for Investment Funds by Chambers Asia-Pacific (2011–2026), by The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific for Investment Funds and Labour and Employment (2025–2026), and by IFLR1000 as a Highly Regarded Lawyer in Investment Funds, M&A and Private Equity. He was also a winner of the Client Choice Awards for Private Funds in Singapore (2024).
