Manfred Lum

Manfred Lum is a Partner in Dentons Rodyk's Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice group, and Co-Head of the Islamic Finance practice, specialising in Dispute Resolution. His practice focuses on corporate and commercial disputes, including equity and trusts, shareholder disputes, commercial fraud and conspiracy, and insolvency and restructuring, as well as estate-related litigation concerning wills and trusts.

Manfred has acted in significant civil and criminal matters, including successfully resisting a claim for properties valued at S$16 million alleged to be held on constructive trust, advising an Indonesian client on a claim of approximately US$50 million, and securing a settlement where a S$2.5 million claim was dropped with no costs. He also routinely advises on Islamic financing and trust structuring, and is among the lead lawyers for the firm's appointment to the panel of legal advisors for the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore. He was part of the team awarded Asset Management and Islamic Funds Law Firm of the Year at the 16th Annual Islamic Finance News Law Awards.

Manfred holds an LL.B. from the National University of Singapore (2018), where he was awarded the NUS Undergraduate Merit Scholarship, and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2019.
