She also successfully resisted the setting aside of a SIAC arbitration award made in favour of a subsidiary of an American multinational energy corporation in a dispute concerning production sharing contracts, with the amount in dispute exceeding US$40 million. She is currently acting for a dye company listed on the National Stock Exchange and the Bombay Stock Exchange in India in a minority oppression claim. She has experience as an arbitrator under ICC and SIAC Rules and has been appointed amicus curiae under the Supreme Court's inaugural Young Amicus Curiae Scheme.

Margaret holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (Dean's List), where she received the Law Society of Singapore Book Prize. She was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2007.
