Mark CHOY

Mark Choy is the Head of the Special Situations Advisory Practice, Co‑Head of the Private Equity Practice, and a Partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Indonesia and Middle East Practices at WongPartnership, specialising in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). He advises acquirers and targets in cross‑border M&A deals across Asia, representing listed and private companies across a range of industries.

He also supports the Restructuring & Insolvency Practice, advising both debtors and creditors in cross‑border restructurings and insolvency proceedings, and providing strategic advice to buyers and sellers in restructuring M&A transactions covering aspects of bankruptcy and securities laws. He has received plaudits in Chambers Asia‑Pacific as a lawyer that "understands the big picture of the deal, not just the nitty‑gritty of the legal side" and is praised as "admirably combines all the key traits a client looks for: approachability, responsiveness, resourcefulness and competence."

Mark holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Nottingham and is admitted to the Singapore Bar.
