Michele Foo

Michele Foo is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring. She advises on M&A by way of share and business acquisitions, local and regional joint ventures, schemes of reconstruction, amalgamation, capital restructuring, and labour law, providing general corporate advice to companies across a broad spectrum of industries.

Michele has acted for Singapore Telecommunications in the S$2.47 billion purchase of Temasek's stakes in Intouch Holdings and Bharti Telecom; Singapore Technologies Telemedia in its acquisition of a 74% stake in Tata Communications' data centre business in Singapore; and AES Corporation in its US$453 million sale of a 45% stake in Masin‑AES to EGCO, together with a joint venture to pursue power projects in the Philippines. She advises clients on both domestic and cross‑border transactions, with a focus on delivering commercially sound and strategically aligned solutions.

Michele holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Bristol and was called to the Bar of England and Wales (Gray's Inn) in 1992 and to the Singapore Bar in 1993. She joined Allen & Gledhill in 1993 and has been a Partner since 2000.
