Vivien YUI

Vivien Yui is the Co‑Head of the Employment Practice and a Partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Establishment, Corporate Governance & Compliance, Health Sciences & Biotechnology, Professional Services, and Philippines Practices. She specialises in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), with a particular focus on private equity investments, especially in the biotechnology and biomedical sectors.

She advises clients on M&A transactions, corporate governance and compliance, and employment law in the context of M&A, and assists multinational corporations with global share incentive plans, local employment practices, benefits and policies, as well as immigration and regulatory issues. She is described by clients as “very practical,” “knowledgeable,” and “responsive to clients’ needs,” with one client noting that her “commercial acumen from years in capital markets work uniquely places her amongst the top regulatory and compliance lawyers.”

She holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and is admitted to the Singapore Bar. She is also an adjunct instructor with the School of Law at the Singapore Management University and a guest lecturer at the National University of Singapore Faculty of Law.
