Michelle Fum

Michelle Fum is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and corporate advisory. She regularly acts for publicly listed companies and privately‑held corporates across a broad spectrum of industries in high‑value and complex transactions, with a focus on domestic and cross‑border share and business acquisitions (for both public and private companies) and public take‑overs.

Michelle has acted for Goodpack in its privatisation from the Singapore Exchange by way of a scheme of arrangement, which was awarded M&A Deal of the Year by Asian Legal Business SE Asia Awards 2015 and The Asian Lawyer Asia Legal Awards 2015; Singapore Telecommunications in the S$2.47 billion purchase of Temasek's stakes in Intouch Holdings and Bharti Telecom; and Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri S.p.A. on its various take‑over exercises for Vard Holdings, a company listed on the Singapore Exchange. She also advises on the continuing obligations of Singapore listed companies under the listing rules of the Singapore Exchange and non‑contentious employment matters.

Michelle holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Bristol and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2006. She joined the Firm in 2006.
