Mark Quek

Mark Quek is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill LLP, specialising in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). His areas of practice encompass mergers and acquisitions (for both public and private companies), joint ventures, corporate reorganisations and general corporate advisory work. He has extensive experience with M&A in Singapore and Southeast Asia across a broad range of industries and regularly acts for private equity and sovereign funds, strategic investors, financial institutions, multinational companies and publicly listed companies.

He has advised SIA Engineering Company on its joint ventures with Boeing and Airbus, StarHub Ltd on its acquisition of a majority interest in MyRepublic Broadband, and Asia OneHealthcare on the acquisition of Southeast Asia super-specialty hospitals and specialist centres of TE Asia Healthcare. He has also acted for Mitsui & Co., Ltd. in its investment in Axiata Digital Services Sdn Bhd, and advised a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek on its voluntary cash offer for Olam International. He is recognised as a Recommended Lawyer for Southeast Asia – M&A by Lexology and as a notable individual for M&A by IFLR1000.

Mark holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2009. He joined Allen & Gledhill in 2008 as a pupil and was seconded to a leading Japanese law firm in 2011.
