POON Chun Wai

Poon Chun Wai is a Partner in the Specialist & Private Client Disputes Practice and the Private Wealth Practice, specialising in estate planning. He advises ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals and families on succession and estate planning, business continuity, family offices, trusts, intergenerational wealth transfers, cross‑border and immigration issues, and charitable giving. He also assists clients with obtaining grants of representation and in the administration of deceased estates.

In addition to his estate planning and succession work, he advises professional trustees, financial institutions, and other service providers on trusts‑related legal and regulatory matters, including the establishment, structuring, and administration of trusts, as well as licensing and regulatory issues. He has also assisted with the preparation of materials for the Wills Probate and Administration module in the Preparatory Course Leading to Part B of the Singapore Bar Examinations.

He holds an LL.B. from the Singapore Management University and is admitted to the Singapore Bar.
