Prawiro Widjaja

Prawiro Widjaja is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate restructuring. He advises corporate clients and private equity funds on M&A transactions in Singapore and Southeast Asia, with a particular focus on Indonesia, and also advises on equity capital market transactions.

Prawiro's transactional experience covers a range of sectors, from banking, insurance, and shipping to general consumer, manufacturing and distribution, as well as petrochemicals and energy transition. He speaks and writes Bahasa Indonesia and Bahasa Melayu, which is valuable for his cross‑border work in the region.

Prawiro holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Cambridge (1993). He was called to the Bar of England and Wales (Middle Temple) in 1994 and to the Singapore Bar in 1995. He joined Allen & Gledhill in December 1994 as a pupil and was made a Partner in 2000.
