Huang Yanting

Huang Yanting (Rex) is a Director in the Corporate & Finance practice at Drew & Napier, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. He is dual‑qualified to practise both Singapore law and PRC law, and advises on cross‑border investments, M&A, financing and initial public offerings, equity and debt issues, joint ventures, and private equity and venture capital investments.

Rex has acted for Haidilao International Holding Ltd in its US$964 million IPO and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, which won the Editor's Choice Impact Deal of the Year at the asialaw Awards 2020 and was nominated for Equity Market Deal of the Year by Asian Legal Business. He has advised Coinbase Inc. on its proposed transactions with a Swiss foundation and its Singapore operations, and has acted for Jumbo Seafood on joint venture enterprises and franchise arrangements in China. He also advises world‑leading blockchain and cryptocurrency firms, including NEO Foundation, on financing, listing, and compliance matters, including whitepaper review and security token analysis under Singapore law.

He holds a J.D. from Singapore Management University, an LL.M. from the National University of Singapore, an LL.B. from East China University of Political Science and Law, and a B.Econs. (Finance) from East China Normal University. He is an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore and is qualified to practise law in the People's Republic of China.
