Song Su-Min

Song Su-Min is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill LLP, specialising in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). She advises on single and multi‑jurisdictional M&A, domestic and international joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and general corporate and commercial law. She has substantial experience in advising private equity firms on take‑private transactions and companies on venture capital fund raisings.

She has acted for Neptune Orient Lines on the US$2.4 billion pre‑conditional voluntary conditional cash offer made by CMA CGM to acquire all shares in NOL, and for KKR China Water Investment in the S$1.9 billion pre‑conditional voluntary conditional offer by an entity jointly owned by KKR and CITIC Environment to acquire all shares in United Envirotech. She also advised Singapore Technologies Telemedia on its acquisition of a 74% stake in Tata Communications' data centre business in Singapore. She is ranked in Corporate/M&A by Chambers Asia‑Pacific and noted for her work in The Legal 500 Asia Pacific and IFLR1000.

She holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Kent at Canterbury. She was called to the Bar of England & Wales (Middle Temple) in 1996 and admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1997. She sits on the Board of Directors of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd. and is the Chairman of its Risk and Sustainability Committee.
