Wong Yi Jia

Wong Yi Jia is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring, and general corporate advisory. She has acted for publicly listed companies, privately‑held companies, and private equity firms across a broad spectrum of industries in a variety of domestic and cross‑border transactions, including high‑profile takeovers and privatisations in Singapore.

Yi Jia has advised Keppel Ltd. on the disposal of its effective interests in two data centre buildings in Singapore at a total gross value of S$1.38 billion; Rohto Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Mitsui & Co., Ltd. on the S$800 million acquisition of approximately 86% of the ordinary shares in Eu Yan Sang International Ltd and the pre‑conditional mandatory general offer for the remaining shares; Keppel Asia Infrastructure Fund LP and Keppel Infrastructure Holdings on a joint acquisition of 800 Super Holdings; Mitsui & Co and Khazanah Nasional on their acquisition of a 20% stake each in Davita Care; and Phoon Huat & Company on Standard Chartered Private Equity's acquisition of a significant stake in the business.

Yi Jia holds an LL.B. (Hons) from King's College London and an LL.M. from University College London. She was called to the Singapore Bar in 2008. She joined Allen & Gledhill in 2007, spent time as corporate legal counsel of a Singapore‑listed company, and re‑joined the firm in April 2015.
