Perry Yuen

Perry Yuen is a Partner at Shook Lin & Bok LLP, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and private equity. He advises on corporate finance, M&A (both public and private companies in Singapore and the region), equity capital markets, privatisations, corporate restructurings and rescues, and securities regulation.

Perry has advised CDH Fund V, L.P. on the acquisition of a majority shareholding interest in Aver Asia Corporation and its subsequent sale to Sumitomo Corporation; the founding shareholders of Pharmaforte on the sale to Advantage Partners; a consortium on the acquisition of a majority shareholding interest in Singapore Medical Group Ltd; and PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara on its acquisition of a 44.3% shareholding interest in Macmahon Holdings Limited through the injection of assets valued at approximately US$150 million. He also acted as lead counsel to Bilfinger SE on the sale of its Asian businesses to Archetype Construction Holding Limited. Through the course of his work, he has dealt extensively with Singapore regulators and is particularly adept at resolving legally and commercially challenging transactions.

Perry holds a BSc in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University, a BA (Jurisprudence) and an MA from Oxford University. He was called to the Singapore Bar in 1999.

He is consistently ranked as a leading individual in Corporate/M&A by Chambers Global, Chambers Asia‑Pacific, Asialaw Profiles, and The Legal 500 Asia Pacific. He serves as a Board Member of SGX Mainboard listed companies, including Sunmoon Food Company Ltd and Datapulse Technology Ltd.
