Chee Yang Teh

Chee Yang Teh is a Senior Associate in Dentons Rodyk's Corporate Practice Group, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. His main areas of practice encompass mergers and acquisitions and general corporate law.

Chee Yang has acted as Singapore transaction counsel on a wide range of high-value M&A transactions, including the S$926.5 million voluntary conditional cash offer for Fragrance Group Limited, the S$492.8 million offer for SingHaiyi Group Limited, the S$261.1 million offer for Hwa Hong Corporation Limited, and the S$143.1 million mandatory offer for Lum Chang Holdings Limited. He also advises on joint ventures, equity fundraisings, group restructurings and acquisitions across sectors including healthcare, renewable energy, fintech and technology.

Chee Yang graduated from the National University of Singapore with an LL.B. (Hons) (Second Class Upper) in 2019, where he also completed the University Scholars Programme. He was admitted to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor in August 2020. During university, he was part of a team that emerged as Champions in the ALSA International Moot Court Competition 2018.

Chee Yang is also an active grassroots leader and youth volunteer with more than 15 years of experience; he presently serves as Vice-Chairman of the Taman Jurong Youth Network and Assistant Secretary of the Taman Jurong Citizens Consultative Committee, and volunteers as a board member in various local charities.
