LIANG Weitan

Liang Weitan is a Partner in the China Practice at WongPartnership, specialising in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, and general corporate and commercial law. He advises clients on domestic and cross‑border M&A transactions, private equity investments, and corporate restructuring across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on China‑related matters.

He has extensive experience in cross‑border transactions and corporate advisory work, having been based in the firm's China office between 2011 and 2014. He has recently been appointed as a member of the Law Society's Foreign Bar Liaison Committee – China Chapter.

Liang Weitan holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and is admitted to the Singapore Bar.
