Sharon Wee

Sharon Wee is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in mergers and acquisitions and capital markets. She has extensive experience acting for public and private entities on complex M&A and capital markets transactions, and regularly advises issuers on a wide range of post‑listing matters, including follow‑on equity offerings, acquisitions, issues of convertibles and hybrid securities, and regulatory and compliance work.

Sharon has advised Sembcorp Marine on its $1.5 billion renounceable underwritten rights issue and $4.5 billion merger with Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd; the trustee‑manager of Croesus Retail Trust on its S$900 million acquisition by an affiliate of the Blackstone Group, which was the first trust scheme in Singapore; Dymon Asia Private Equity on its investment into, and subsequent exit from, a Singapore‑based precision engineering company; and Jardine Cycle and Carriage on its renounceable underwritten rights issue to raise approximately S$1.027 billion for the financing of its acquisition of a 24.9% interest in Siam City Public Company.

Sharon holds a B.A. (Hons) from the University of Cambridge (1997) and was called to the Singapore Bar in 1999. She has been a Partner with Allen & Gledhill since 2006.

She is appointed as a Notary Public and Commissioner for Oaths in Singapore and an Accredited Mediator with the Singapore Mediation Centre. She also serves on the board of GuocoLand Limited.
