CHAN Sing Yee

Chan Sing Yee is the Co-Head of the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice and a Partner in the Private Equity Practice, specialising in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). She advises clients on local and cross‑border M&A, joint ventures, privatisations, and general corporate and commercial transactions and advisory work.

With over 20 years of legal experience, she has a track record in managing complex, high‑value and landmark corporate transactions. Clients have described her as a “rigorous and commercial lawyer who is quick and agile” and that she “goes the extra mile for clients.” She has also been praised as a “very thorough M&A counsel, measured in negotiations and practical in her approach.”

She holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and is admitted to the Singapore Bar and to the Roll of Solicitors of England & Wales. She sits on the Programme & Services Committee of the Shared Services for Charities Limited (SSC), a registered charity and a full member of the National Council of Social Service in Singapore.
