Teo Mae Shaan

Teo Mae Shaan is a Partner at Shook Lin & Bok LLP, specialising in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate, employment, and regulatory compliance. She advises multinational corporations and private companies on M&A, investments, and general corporate matters, with a particular focus on the healthcare and life sciences sector.

She has acted for Publicis Group on the acquisition of Hepmil Media Group, BW LPG Limited on its US$1,050 million acquisition of 12 Very Large Gas Carriers, Séché Environnement on its S$605 million acquisition of ECO Industrial Environmental Engineering, and the shareholders of Icon Group on the sale of Australia's largest integrated cancer care provider for $2.45 billion. She also advised on the US$3.6 billion business combination of SES Holdings with Ivanhoe Capital Acquisition Corp, and acted as Singapore counsel for Riverwood Capital on Nium's $200 million+ Series D financing round.

She also has experience in equity and debt capital markets, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings, and debt issuances, and advises SGX‑ST listed companies on post‑listing compliance. She holds an LL.B (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2003) and is admitted to the Singapore Bar (2004) and as a Solicitor of England and Wales (2009).
