Song Ruoh Jin

Song Ruoh Jin is a Partner in the Corporate practice at Lee & Lee in Singapore. Her practice focuses on Mergers and Acquisitions, as well as corporate actions and legal and regulatory compliance.

With a practice of over two and a half decades, Ruoh Jin advises listed and unlisted companies on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and share placements, as well as advising listed companies on corporate actions, legal and regulatory compliance, annual general meetings, announcement requirements and the requirements to obtain shareholders' approvals.

She has handled transactions involving target companies and assets in various business areas, including residential and commercial property, a tourist attraction and retail businesses. Her case highlights include advising a Singapore listed company on its acquisition of all the shares of a Singapore company in the business of retailing and distributing luxury watches with shops in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, advising a hospital in Singapore on its acquisition of assets including a facility for the manufacture of autologous and allogeneic cell therapy products, and advising a Singapore listed company on its acquisition of the Singapore Flyer.

She holds an LLB (Honours) from the National University of Singapore and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1997. She is a member of the Continuing Professional Development Committee and the Corporate Practice Committee of The Law Society of Singapore.
