Yi-Ying Seng

Yi-Ying Seng is Counsel in Dentons Rodyk's Corporate practice, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. With more than 25 years of legal experience, her practice spans cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic investments, corporate governance, intellectual property strategy and licensing, and complex commercial matters across the Asia Pacific region.

Before joining Dentons Rodyk, Yi-Ying was Regional Legal Director, Asia Pacific, at The HEINEKEN Company, where she advised regional and local leadership teams on strategic transactions, corporate governance and legal risk management, and served as a director on the boards of several HEINEKEN group companies and joint ventures across Asia Pacific, including in Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand. She has advised on transactions and business matters across more than fifteen jurisdictions, including acquisitions and disposals of operating businesses and production facilities, brand acquisitions, joint venture formation and restructuring, and post-acquisition integration.

Yi-Ying holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Nottingham (1996). She is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.

She has been recognised in the Legal 500 GC Powerlist for Southeast Asia (2022, 2024) and featured in the Young Women's Leadership Connection: Leading, Her Way Series (2025).
