Tay Eu-Yen

Tay Eu-Yen is a Director in the Business Advisory & Dispute Resolution practice at Drew & Napier, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. She is a consumer markets specialist with extensive experience as a legal advisor, entrepreneur, operator, and investor within the entertainment, food, and lifestyle spaces.

Eu-Yen's first‑hand business management experience places her in a unique position to advise businesses on a wide spectrum of services, from business advisory to dispute resolution. She advises on contracts, corporate structuring, regulatory advice, and commercial dispute resolution, with a focus on early‑stage investing, joint ventures, franchises, sale and purchase, management, and representation. Notable transactions include advising Crown Technologies on a pre‑Series A funding round with subsidiaries of East Japan Railway Company and SMRT Corporation; advising N&E Innovations on a pre‑Series A funding round with private and government‑funded venture capital companies; advising on SAFE notes for online media publication Jom; and advising on agreements for the Asia‑wide collaboration between the Restaurant Association of Singapore and IEG Asia for the Restaurant Asia conference. She also advises on shareholder and investment structures, private financing instruments, and regulatory frameworks relating to climate sustainability, employment, fair tenancy, F&B services, food safety, gaming, music copyright licensing, and public entertainment.

Eu‑Yen holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the University of Bristol and a Master of Studies in Legal Research (Distinction) from the University of Oxford. She is an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.
