Luke Oon

Luke Oon is a Senior Associate in Bird & Bird ATMD's Corporate & Commercial Group in Singapore. His primary practice area is Mergers and Acquisitions, and he has substantial experience working on a wide range of corporate matters encompassing M&A, private equity, venture capital, corporate restructuring and corporate advisory work.

He works collaboratively with a diverse clientele that includes private equity and venture capital firms, multinational corporations, start-ups and government-linked entities. He has represented clients on complex and high-value transactions across various sectors such as technology and communications, life sciences and healthcare, real estate development, and retail and consumer.

He graduated with an LLB (Hons) from King's College London in 2016 and was a recipient of the King's College London Dickson Poon Scholarship. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2018 and qualified as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2022.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird ATMD, he was working for a top-tier Big Four local law firm.
