Christian Chin

Christian Chin is Co-Head of the Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions Department at Allen & Gledhill LLP, specialising in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity, venture capital, and corporate restructuring. He represents investment and commercial banks, private equity and sovereign funds, and strategic corporate clients on domestic and cross‑border M&A transactions, joint ventures, and private equity investments.

He also advises venture capital investors and companies on Series A and subsequent funding rounds, providing strategic legal counsel on corporate transactions and regulatory compliance across multiple sectors. He has been a Legal Case Studies Instructor at the NUS Law School and a lecturer and instructor for the Corporate & Commercial Practice module of the Singapore Bar Examinations. He is cited as a notable individual in Corporate and M&A by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific and noted for his work in M&A by IFLR1000.

He holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, Babson College. He was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2000 and to the Roll of Solicitors of England and Wales in 2002. He joined the firm in 2004 and has been a Partner since 2006.
