Chua Shi Ying

Chua Shi Ying is a Partner in the Corporate and M&A practice at Shook Lin & Bok LLP, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and private equity. She has worked with some of the largest corporations in Singapore (listed and unlisted), as well as leading international groups on domestic and cross‑border transactions across a wide range of industries.

Shi Ying has acted for AIGL (Advance Intelligence Group) in its US$400 million Series D fundraising round co‑led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and Warburg Pincus; for Zenyum in its US$40 million Series B fundraising round; as Singapore counsel to Global Car Group (Cars24) in its Series G fundraising round; as Singapore counsel to Danfoss A/S on its US$3.3 billion acquisition of Eaton's hydraulics business; as Singapore counsel to 8i, a NASDAQ‑listed SPAC, in the business combination with EUDA Health Limited; as Singapore counsel to Diginex (now Eqonex) in a de‑SPAC by way of reverse merger with 8i; and for Roxy‑Pacific Holdings in the S$632 million pre‑conditional voluntary offer by TKL & Family. She also advised Halcyon Agri Corporation on its S$450 million acquisition of Anson Company, which propelled it to become one of the top five rubber producers in the world, and acted for Lone Star Funds on its ¥44,660 billion acquisition of the entire portfolio of real estate assets in Japan from Saizen Real Estate Investment Trust.

Shi Ying holds an LL.B (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2010) and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2011.
