Chia Lee Fong

Chia Lee Fong is a Director in the Corporate & Finance practice at Drew & Napier, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions. Her practice encompasses M&A, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments, capital markets, and general corporate work.

Lee Fong has extensive experience in investment projects, acquisitions, and corporate transactions, including share subscriptions, share purchases, asset acquisitions and disposals, and convertible bond and loan agreements. She advises companies listed on the Singapore Exchange on takeover offers, major transactions, rights issues, placements, reverse takeovers, delistings, corporate restructurings, and continuing listing compliance. Notable transactions include advising on the sale of a Singapore‑listed healthcare company for approximately S$480 million, acting as counsel to the buyer in the acquisition of a Singapore‑listed precision engineering company for approximately S$1.0 billion, and advising a multinational logistics company on the acquisition of a Singapore‑listed logistics company valued at S$1.65 billion. She also advises trustees of REITs on various transactions.

She holds an LL.B. (Honours) from the National University of Malaysia (2005), an LL.M. in International Business Law from the National University of Singapore (2007), and passed the Foreign Practitioner Examinations by the Singapore Institute of Legal Education (2012). She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2006.

Prior to joining Drew & Napier, Lee Fong practiced at another leading Singapore law firm for approximately 16 years and served as chief representative for its Shanghai representative office. She is effectively trilingual in English, Chinese, and Malay.
