Rozalynne Asmali

Rozalynne Asmali is a Director in Drew & Napier's Intellectual Property & Dispute Resolution Department, specialising in intellectual property litigation and commercial dispute resolution. She represents clients across diverse industries including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, consumer electronics, healthcare, and medical devices in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

She has extensive experience in complex intellectual property disputes, including acting for Dyson in patent infringement proceedings concerning the Dyson Airwrap, representing Tanaka Electronics in a patent infringement action relating to semiconductor manufacturing, and acting for Golden Village in a copyright licensing dispute with COMPASS. She also handles general commercial litigation, including contract and tort claims, defamation, shareholder disputes, and breaches of directors' duties, with reported cases including Low Tuck Kwong v Sukamto Sia and Scintronix Corp Ltd v Ho Kang Peng.

Rozalynne holds an LL.B from the London School of Economics & Political Science (2002). She was admitted to the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2003, admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2005, and holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional, Asia (CIPP/A) certification (2020).

Prior to joining Drew & Napier, she served as ASEAN Legal Counsel and Data Protection Officer for the Ernst & Young firms in the region.
