Shang Chai Chua

Shang Chai Chua is a Partner in the Dentons Rodyk Real Estate group, specialising in Real Estate Law. He has been involved in a multitude of real estate work including collective sales, purchase, mortgage financing and development work for developers, and real estate financing.

Shang Chai has acted on numerous landmark collective sale and development transactions, including the acquisition of Tampines Court for S$970 million (the second largest collective sale in Singapore's history), the collective sale of Rio Casa for S$575 million, and advising Qingjian Group on its acquisition of Shunfu Ville for S$638 million. He has also acted for Sim Lian Group, Tuan Sing Holdings, CEL Development and Asset Legend Limited on major land acquisitions and project developments, and advised on financing transactions for workers' dormitories and commercial properties.

Shang Chai holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2008) and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in Singapore in 2009. He is an Acritas Star Lawyer and was recognised by Asian Legal Business as one of Singapore's Rising Stars (2023).
