Kenneth Szeto

Kenneth Szeto is a Partner at Shook Lin & Bok LLP, specialising in real estate law, corporate real estate, and real estate financing. He has been in legal practice for over two decades, working on a broad range of corporate real estate deals across the commercial, industrial, and residential property sectors in Singapore.

Kenneth represents multinationals, real estate investment funds, construction companies, and collective sale committees in acquisitions, disposals, sale and leaseback transactions, collective sales and purchases of land sites, and indirect property investment transactions. He also assists developers in the full life cycle of their development projects, from land acquisition and financing to redevelopment and off‑plan sales. He advises lenders and borrowers on domestic and cross‑border financing transactions, with a focus on secured land loans, development and construction loans, and en‑bloc acquisition financing. He also advises ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals and family offices on their Singapore real estate investments, debt‑financing, asset management, and real‑estate‑related succession planning. He has particular expertise in niche sub‑sectors such as co‑working and co‑living spaces, branded residences, hospitality, and self‑storage facilities, and has been a key engagement partner of the Self Storage Association Asia since its establishment.

Kenneth holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Exeter (2003). He was called to the Singapore Bar in 2005 and is also a Solicitor of England & Wales (2009).
