Woo Shu Yan

Woo Shu Yan is a Director in Drew & Napier's Dispute Resolution practice, focusing on corporate and commercial litigation and arbitration. She has handled a diverse range of matters including private equity, corporate, banking and finance disputes, and regulatory actions, with a particular interest in trust and shareholder disputes.

Notable matters include acting for the former Prime Minister of Georgia, Bidzina Ivanishvili, and his family in successfully claiming US$926 million against Credit Suisse Trust Limited for breach of trust; acting for a well-known electronics company in an arbitration involving claims worth more than US$100 million arising from a US$3 billion television sales contract; and assisting a client in a trust dispute involving billions of dollars. She also successfully obtained judgment and recovery of assets of more than US$35 million in a Singapore International Commercial Court matter, which was upheld on appeal.

Woo Shu Yan holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2005) and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2006.
