Andrew Chua

Andrew Chua is a Director in the Dispute Resolution practice at Drew & Napier, specializing in Dispute Resolution. He has an extensive criminal defence practice spanning commercial, financial and business crime, money laundering, fraud and corruption, as well as civil and commercial litigation including contractual disputes, asset recovery, negligence, and cybersecurity-related disputes.

Andrew has acted in numerous high‑profile matters, including representing one of ten individuals charged in the landmark S$3 billion money laundering case, with assets of nearly S$210 million seized; representing a key trader involved in the “Penny Stock Crash” where almost S$8 billion in market value was erased; and successfully representing Razer in a highly technical suit arising from a data leak involving nearly 147,000 customers worldwide. He also successfully represented a former Managing Director of Fuji Xerox Singapore in a wrongful dismissal suit, with damages in excess of S$1.4 million awarded.

Andrew holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2017) and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2018. He passed the Singapore Bar Examinations as joint‑4th out of 658 candidates, receiving two distinctions and the award for Best Student in Ethics and Professional Responsibility. As an undergraduate, he reached the Quarterfinals of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, winning Honourable Mentions in every category.
