Andy Lem

Andy Lem is a Partner, Co-Head of the Civil and Commercial Litigation Practice Group and Head of the Sports and Media practice at Harry Elias Partnership in Singapore. His practice focuses on Dispute Resolution.

He represents clients in court proceedings as well as arbitration over disputes arising from contractual matters, fiduciary duties, negligence, defamation, general asset recovery, probate, trust, insolvency and restructuring, infringement of intellectual property and land law.

Andy has acted for the former shareholders and directors of Raffles Town Club, the Philippines Government in relation to the recovery of monies allegedly appropriated by the former President Marcos and his family, the Business Software Alliance on a defamation suit, a leading producer of Australian television programmes, and Nike International Ltd in intellectual property infringement suits.

He has also acted for local and regional companies in various arbitrations under the SIAC and ICC Rules of Arbitration.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws from the National University of Singapore. He is a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the Disciplinary Panel, Institute of Valuers and Appraisers, Singapore; the Law Society Inquiry Panel; the Singapore Academy of Law; and The Law Society of Singapore.

He has been recognised as a "Ranked Practitioner" for Sports Law by Best Lawyers Singapore and Best Lawyers Global (2022–2027), and as a "Litigation Star" for Commercial and Transactions by Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific (2026). Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific has described him as "calm and composed" with "strong technical knowledge and a good advocate," and Asialaw Profiles has noted he is "quick at responses and willing to lend his ear."
