Charlotte Tang

Charlotte Tang is an Associate Director in the Dispute Resolution practice at Drew & Napier, specializing in Dispute Resolution. She has worked on complex, high‑value, and multi‑jurisdictional litigation and international arbitration matters, including commercial contracts, shareholder disputes, and freezing injunctions.

Charlotte has significant experience in international arbitration and has acted in arbitrations conducted under major institutional rules, including those of the ICC and SIAC. She is frequently involved in arbitration‑related proceedings before the Singapore Courts, including applications to set aside arbitral awards and for interim relief. Notable matters include acting for a leading multinational energy company in proceedings in the Singapore International Commercial Court to set aside two SIAC arbitral awards rendered in a US$5.5 billion dispute; successfully defending applications to set aside two ICC arbitral awards concerning a popular online game, involving complex jurisdictional questions and novel legal issues under Singapore and Korean law, with alleged losses valued at US$1 billion; and successfully acting for BSI Bank Limited in resisting an application brought by foreign liquidators of a 1MDB‑linked entity under the UNCITRAL Model Law on Cross‑Border Insolvency.

She holds an LL.B. (Hons) from Singapore Management University (2019) and was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2020. She represented her university in several international moots, including the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot.
