Eng Leng Ng

Eng Leng Ng is a Senior Partner in Dentons Rodyk's Corporate practice and Co-Head of the Mergers & Acquisitions practice, specialising in Mergers and Acquisitions. He leads and specialises in domestic, regional and cross-border private and public M&A, privatisations, takeovers, corporate finance, corporate restructurings, securities law and private equity, with expertise across financial institutions, healthcare and technology sectors.

Eng Leng has acted on a wide range of high-value public and private M&A transactions, including advising Fragrance Group Limited on its S$926.5 million voluntary conditional cash offer and subsequent delisting, Goodwood Park Hotel Limited on its S$1.85 billion voluntary unconditional cash offer, and SingHaiyi Group Limited on its S$492.8 million offer. He also advised GlobalFoundries Singapore on its US$236 million sale of FAB 3E and its strategic collaboration with Applied Materials, and acted in the S$5.6 billion privatisation of Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd. His experience also includes advising on joint ventures, shareholder arrangements, schemes of arrangement and cross-border investments across the region.

Eng Leng holds an LL.M. and an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (1995, 1989).
