Hannah Chua

Hannah Chua is a Partner in Dentons Rodyk's Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group, specialising in Dispute Resolution. She has a diverse practice spanning commercial litigation, international arbitration and construction-related disputes, acting for multinational corporations, state-owned entities and property developers in complex, high‑value matters across banking and finance, energy, infrastructure, real estate development and commodities trading.

Hannah has acted in a US$37 million fraudulent misrepresentation claim against a Singapore company for a major European bank, and as counsel in bankruptcy proceedings arising from a high‑profile nickel trading fraud with debts exceeding S$400 million. She has appeared before the Singapore courts, international arbitration tribunals and statutory adjudication bodies, and has particular experience in disputes involving Chinese entities. Notable representations include acting for a developer in a successful striking out application concerning alleged property defects, and securing a landmark Strata Titles Board decision establishing that electronic parking systems must comply with existing by‑laws and not restrict access to private strata lots.

Hannah holds an LL.B. (Hons) from University College London. She is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.
