Ian KOH

Ian Koh is a Senior Consultant at WongPartnership, specialising in maritime law, international trade, and commercial dispute resolution. He has the distinction of being a door tenant at Quadrant Chambers, a prestigious set of barristers' chambers in London specialising in commercial and shipping law. He has been involved in major disputes concerning sale of goods, commodities, oil, and trade finance, and frequently handles international litigation and arbitration across cross‑border and commercial issues.

Ian's clients include trading houses, commodity traders, ship owners, charterers, marine underwriters, P&I Clubs, port and terminal operators, banks, and companies in the offshore oil and gas sectors. He has handled arbitrations under ICC, LCIA, SIAC, CIETAC, and other rules, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. He is also a panel arbitrator of the SIAC and has been appointed in ICC‑administered arbitrations.

Ian holds a B.A. (Hons) and M.A. from the University of Cambridge and is a Barrister‑at‑Law of Middle Temple. He is admitted to the Singapore Bar and the English Bar.
