Jen Wei Loh

Jen Wei Loh is a Senior Partner in Dentons Rodyk's Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group and Co-Head of the Shipping practice, specialising in Maritime Law. She has extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation and international arbitration across jurisdictions including Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong and India.

Jen Wei acts for and advises clients on transport and trade-related disputes, including charterparties, commodity sale contracts, marine and cargo insurance, and carriage of goods by sea and air. She handles contentious shipping and admiralty matters in the Singapore courts and in arbitration, advising ship owners, charterers, banks, shipyards and marine insurers. She also specialises in medical defence work, representing hospitals and medical practitioners in medical malpractice disputes.

Jen Wei holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2002). She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has been appointed as arbitrator in several international arbitrations.

She was awarded Lawyer of the Year for Shipping & Maritime at the Women in Business Law Awards APAC (2023) and is recognised as a Litigation Star in Shipping by Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific (2026) and a Recommended Lawyer in Shipping by The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific.
