Iwan SETIAWAN

Iwan Setiawan is a Senior Partner and heads the firm’s Capital Markets Practice, with over 30 years of experience specialising in capital markets law, securities regulation, and corporate finance. He advises clients on capital market transactions, initial public offerings, rights issues, and regulatory compliance, serving a wide range of Indonesian conglomerates and multinational corporations.

He is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished legal experts in Indonesia's capital markets landscape, recognised for his solid relationships with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). He has served as lead partner on landmark transactions for major clients including PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAP), PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk, and PT Soechi Lines Tbk, and has advised Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. (KKR) on investments in Indonesia. He was recently appointed as Chairman of the Capital Markets Lawyers Association in Indonesia (HKHPM).

He holds a Bachelor of Laws (S.H.) from the University of Padjajaran and is a member of the Indonesian Bar.
