Jeanne Ong

Jeanne Ong is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in capital markets law and structured finance. She has extensive experience advising issuers and underwriters on market‑leading capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings of equity and business trusts, bond issuances, equity‑linked securities, regulatory capital, and Islamic finance, as well as derivatives, securitisations, and structured finance.

Jeanne has advised on a wide range of debt and equity capital markets transactions across multiple jurisdictions, representing both issuers and financial institutions on complex and innovative financing structures. Her practice spans programme establishments, bond offerings, and equity‑linked products, with a strong track record in cross‑border and multi‑currency transactions.

Jeanne holds a B.A. (Hons) from the University of Oxford (1999) and an LL.M. from University College London (2000). She was called to the Singapore Bar in 2002 and is also a non‑practising solicitor, having been admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of England & Wales in 2004. Prior to joining Allen & Gledhill in 2011, she worked for nine years in the capital markets and structured finance practices of a magic circle law firm in its London, Hong Kong, and Singapore offices.
