Joshua Phang

Joshua Phang (彭施恩) is a Director whose primary practice area is Arbitration and Mediation. He joined TSMP Law Corporation in 2022 as an Associate and has distinguished himself as a formidable advocate in complex disputes, known for his deep legal knowledge and persuasive delivery.

He has advised and acted for states, state-owned entities and investors in investment treaty arbitrations and court-related proceedings, as well as in multi-billion dollar disputes. He has also provided counsel on cross-border regulatory investigations and defamation disputes, including representing senior political figures.

He serves on the Advisory Board of the Institute of Transnational Arbitration and has contributed extensively to arbitration scholarship, co-authoring influential reports and articles on arbitration procedure, natural justice and regulatory frameworks. He has volunteered with the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme and other pro bono initiatives, including leading a clothing donation drive for migrant workers.

He was recognised as one of Singapore's Top 20 Most Notable Lawyers Under 40 by Singapore Business Review in 2025. He holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and an LL.M. from Queen Mary University of London.
