Junming Tong

Junming Tong is a Partner and Deputy Head of the Capital Markets practice in Dentons Rodyk's Corporate practice, focusing on real estate investment trusts (REITs) and capital markets transactions.

He has advised REITs on initial public offerings, real estate acquisitions and disposals, retail and convertible bond issues, medium term note and debt issuance programmes, bank financing transactions and ISDA documentation. Notable transactions include advising on the S$973.6 million IPO of UI Boustead REIT; acting as REIT trustee counsel for the S$1.027 billion IPO of Lendlease Global Commercial REIT; advising on the €865.7 million IPO of Cromwell European REIT (the first Euro-denominated REIT and the largest REIT IPO by portfolio size since 2013); and acting on the US$553.1 million IPO of Keppel-KBS US REIT. He also advised on the merger of ESR-REIT and Viva Industrial Trust, the first merger of two listed REITs in Singapore, and has acted for issuers, arrangers, dealers and agents on the establishment and update of debt issuance and certificate of deposit programmes.

Junming holds an LL.B (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2008). He is recognised by IFLR1000 for Capital Markets and Real Estate, and is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.
