Liat Yeang Lee

Liat Yeang Lee is a Senior Partner in Dentons Rodyk's Real Estate practice group and Co-Head of the Corporate Real Estate, Project Development and Collective Sales practices, specialising in Real Estate Law. He has been advising on all aspects of corporate real estate work since 1993, including sales and purchase, project development for developers, and real estate financing.

Liat Yeang has handled numerous landmark collective sales transactions, including the S$1.3388 billion sale of Farrer Court—the largest collective sale in Singapore's history—and the S$970 million sale of Tampines Court. He has acted for developers including Sim Lian Group, SingHaiyi Holdings, Qingjian Group, Far East Organisation, UOL, Singapore Land, and Tuan Sing Holdings on major acquisitions and project sales. Notable recent transactions include acting for the joint venture that acquired Peace Centre/Peace Mansion for S$650 million and for the purchaser of PIL Building at 140 Cecil Street, involving a unique lease‑to‑freehold conversion. He has also acted for Sim Lian Group on the launch of Emerald of Katong, which sold nearly all 846 units in one weekend.

Liat Yeang holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (1992) and an LL.M. from the National University of Singapore (2003). He served as Chairperson of the Law Society's Conveyancing Practice Committee for nearly a decade.

He is consistently recognised as a Leading Individual for Real Estate by Chambers Asia-Pacific (2012–2026), a Recommended Lawyer in Real Estate by The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific, and in Best Lawyers in Singapore for Real Estate Law. He received the Law Society of Singapore Practice Excellence Award for Excellence in Real Estate (2025).
