Lim Wei Ting

Lim Wei Ting is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill LLP, specialising in Banking and Finance Law. He regularly acts for banks, major corporates, REITs and financial sponsors on domestic and cross‑border financings, including single‑ and multi‑bank corporate lending, syndicated finance, real estate finance, green and sustainable finance, leveraged and investment grade acquisition finance, takeover finance, and privatisation finance.

He acted for DBS, Maybank, OCBC and UOB on the S$12 billion facilities to Marina Bay Sands to finance the expansion of the iconic integrated resort, and for Singapore Airlines on the S$4 billion facilities from DBS and UOB to finance short‑term liquidity requirements during the COVID‑19 pandemic. He also acted for DBS, OCBC, MUFG, SMBC and UOB on the S$970 million facilities to Jewel Changi Airport Trust to refinance the development of Jewel Changi Airport, and for Bank of China, CIMB, DBS, OCBC, RHB, SMBC and UOB on the S$1.72 billion facilities to Orchard Turn Retail to refinance the development of ION Orchard. His expertise in banking and finance has been consistently recognised by Chambers Asia‑Pacific, IFLR1000, and The Legal 500 Asia Pacific.

Lim Wei Ting holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and a BCL (Distinction) from the University of Oxford (St Catherine's College). He was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2003 and to the Roll of Solicitors of England and Wales in 2008. He is a member of the Singapore Documentation Committee of the Asia Pacific Loan Market Association.
