Lyn Wee

Lyn Wee is a Partner at Allen & Gledhill, specialising in real estate law, property financing, and real estate investment trusts. She handles all types of real estate transactions, including property acquisitions, divestments, anchor tenant letting, and property financing, acting for major institutional clients such as property funds, asset managers, banks, and listed real estate developers.

Lyn has been involved in numerous major property sale and purchase transactions, built-to-suit arrangements, and sale and master lease-back transactions for REITs, listed developers, and property funds. She has also acted on major financing transactions secured by retail malls, office buildings, industrial buildings, and hotels, as well as financing for en-bloc purchases of condominium projects with hundreds of units. She is also familiar with handling onshore and offshore financing for real estate assets in the People's Republic of China, and has acted as Singapore real estate counsel for a sovereign wealth fund's acquisition of a prime commercial building in Singapore, one of the largest real estate transactions in Asia Pacific that year.

Lyn holds an LL.M. from the National University of Singapore. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales (Middle Temple) in 1987 and to the Singapore Bar in 1988. She has been with the firm since the start of her legal career.
