May Loo

May Loo is a Partner in the Corporate Real Estate Practice at Shook Lin & Bok LLP, specialising in real estate law, property transactions, and corporate real estate advisory. She has extensive experience advising on all types of commercial, industrial and residential property transactions, including direct and indirect acquisitions and disposals, sale and leasebacks, built‑to‑suit developments, and commercial and industrial leasing.

May has acted for the vendor in the sale of 160 Havelock Road for approximately S$160 million; for the vendor in the sale of 30 Bideford Road for approximately S$515 million; for a leading FMCG distributor in the purchase of an industrial warehouse with a cold storage; for the manager of Capitaland Ascendas Real Estate Investment Trust on its acquisition and leaseback of the Philips APAC Centre; and for a leading property developer in the purchase of a S$166 million hotel. She also acts for real estate investment trusts, multinational corporations, banks and financial institutions, property owners and tenants, and advises on the property‑related aspects of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.

May holds an LL.B (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (2014) and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2015.
