Ng Yeow Khoon

Ng Yeow Khoon is a Partner at Shook Lin & Bok LLP, specialising in dispute resolution, banking and finance litigation, and restructuring and insolvency. He regularly advises and acts for many major local and foreign banks and financial institutions in Singapore in their banking disputes and insolvency matters.

Yeow Khoon has acted for United Overseas Bank in successfully defending a customer’s claim for negligence and vicarious liability for alleged fraudulent misrepresentations; for DBS Bank in proceedings for determination of distribution of trust proceeds; for UBS AG in successfully resisting customers' counterclaims for investment losses; for Maybank in both the High Court and Court of Appeal to uphold the validity of a mortgage; and for the Receivers and Managers of Bakery Mart Pte Ltd in various proceedings. His practice also includes debt restructuring, schemes of arrangement, judicial management, and liquidation (both voluntary and compulsory).

Yeow Khoon holds an LL.B (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (1995) and was called to the Singapore Bar in 1996.
