Rachel Tan

Rachel Tan is a Partner in the Corporate Practice at Dentons Rodyk, specialising in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, and corporate restructuring. She advises clients on domestic and cross-border transactions, including complex M&A, joint ventures, and corporate reorganisations, with a strong focus on the healthcare and aviation sectors.

Rachel has acted for Far East Drug (B.V.I.) Co. Ltd on its successful bid for the purchase of shares in Fullerton Health; Templewater Hong Kong Limited on its acquisition of a majority stake in OncoCare Medical and Novena Heart Centre; Menzies Aviation on its purchase of a 50% stake in Jardine Aviation Services Group; and SGX Mainboard-listed luxury watch retailer Cortina Holdings on its S$84.7 million acquisition of Sincere Watch. She also regularly advises on general corporate, regulatory, employment, and compliance matters for domestic, regional, and multinational corporations.

Rachel holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Exeter (2017) and was called to the Singapore Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2019. She is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.

She is recognised as a key lawyer in Corporate and M&A by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific (2024–2026), with clients describing her as a lawyer who "constantly combines strong legal knowledge with a pragmatic, solutions-driven mindset".
