Rodney Keong

Rodney Keong is a Senior Partner in Dentons Rodyk's Litigation and Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice groups, specialising in Dispute Resolution. He is also Co-Head of the Commercial Litigation practice and the Singapore-Korea relationship partner. His practice spans commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation, with experience in construction and engineering, corporate, shareholders' and investment disputes, banking, insolvency and restructuring cases, as well as fintech and cryptocurrency disputes.

Rodney has acted for insurers, developers, main and specialist contractors, and building owners in construction and engineering disputes, including major engineering incidents. He has also advised leading international trading houses on international sale of goods transactions. Notable matters include acting in a landmark professional negligence case that established building consultants owed a duty of care to management corporations, and acting for a listed builder in an arbitration involving complex claims and counterclaims exceeding S$22 million.

Rodney holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore (1996). He has been appointed as Sole Arbitrator under SIAC Rules in various commercial disputes and has conducted seminars for MNCs, banks and financial institutions.

He is recognised as a Litigation Star in Commercial and Transactions by Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific (2026) and as a key lawyer in International Arbitration by The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific.
