Swetambara Chaudhary

Swetambara Chaudhary is an Associate in Dentons Rodyk's Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, specialising in Dispute Resolution. Her main areas of practice include commercial and general litigation, with a focus on construction disputes.

Swetambara has acted for main contractors in arbitral proceedings involving claims for variation works, delay, defects and contractual issues. She has also appeared in adjudication proceedings under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act, including successfully defending claims on behalf of a main contractor and demonstrating that the claimant had failed to substantiate the value of works done, resulting in a reduction of the amount payable.

Swetambara holds an LL.B. (Second Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore (2022) and was called to the Singapore Bar in 2023. She is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Academy of Law.
